We ♥ Katamari

I spent an hour or so last night playing pretty much the coolest game ever. In case you are a loser and don’t know what the coolest game ever is, it’s called We <3 Katamari for the Playstation 2 and it’s the sequel to a hit Japanese game called Katamari Damacy.
I had read all kinds of hype about Katamari Damacy, but there was no english version. It would have cost me like $60 to import it, so I just gave up hope of ever playing it. Until last night while I was in Wal-Mart getting some early Christmas shopping done. I had no idea that there was a sequel in the making, let alone that it would be released in America. It was only $30 so I snatched it right up.
Let me tell you something: If you have $30 and a Playstation 2, go buy this game right fucking now! It is the quirkiest thing in the history of quirks. It is absolutely hilarious. Much of the hilarity is not immediately evident however. You’ll need to earn it, which isn’t a problem since the game play is quite simple in theory and incredibly addicting. If I’m to pass all of my classes this semester, I need to forget that I own it for a while.
