The Fountain
July 17, 2006 – 10:59 pmGood news. The newest film by Darren Aronofsky is going to be released soon. The movie began test screening in May of this year, so barring any major changes to the film, we should see it in the next few months. Brad Pitt was originally cast for the lead role back in 2001, but left to film Troy in 2003. The film got shut down for a while, but was revived in 2004 with about half of the original budget and Hugh Jackman as the new lead role.
Here’s the trailer. Warner Brothers has put up some interesting visuals (downloadable as screensavers) as part of the marketing campaign. chud.com and aintitcoolnews.com have some good reviews of the screenings.

Yeah, I’ve been waiting a while for this one too. I have a wierd feeling about how the movie might end, but I’ll keep it to myself because on some odd chance I’m right, I’d hate to spoil the ending. I’m most likely way off though.

Yes, I’ve already had a bit of it spoiled by the reviews I’ve read. I just can’t help but read them though. I’m very anxious to see this movie.
