Surprise Money In The Mail
October 27, 2005 – 6:03 pmYou know how sometimes when Winter is upon you once again, and you pull out your favorite coat from last year, and you find $20 in one of the pockets? Isn’t that cool?
I just got a check in the mail from Okaloosa Walton College for $633 that I forgot I had paid them. I also had forgotten that they owed it back to me. When I enrolled this year, I put my financial aid paperwork in a little late and I had to pay out some cash for my classes until my aid kicked in. When my aid was finally approved, it paid for my classes in full, overriding the cash I had put in. I knew all of this was going to happen and that I’d be getting my money back, but I had completely forgotten about it.
Christmas just got a little better for Michele!
Not that she wasn’t going to get completely spoiled anyway…
