Scions, sassy girls & linux

December 14, 2005 – 2:50 pm

I got my Scion tC Monday morning! I’ve been driving it for two full days now and it still just doesn’t feel quite right. It feels surreal. I suppose that is to be expected when one is taken out of a 13 year old car and immediately put into a brand new car. I just hope that I eventually settle into it. I want to be able to fully enjoy my new toy.

Michele and I attended my boss’ 40th birthday party on Saturday. One of Kieth’s wife’s friends was sitting next to us on the couch and told Michele that she was cute and sassy. I still haven’t stopped calling her sassy. It fits her I think.

My email filtering gateway project at work has my brain tied in little knots. I’m ready to drop kick it out the door and move on to the next thing. It pains me to configure a linux machine and all the necessary software that goes along with it. I wouldn’t consider myself a Microsoft fanboy or a Linux hater for that matter, but at least Windows is straightforward and somewhat intuitive. Plus there’s not like 700 different versions of Windows.
