Much has changed since last I was here
February 12, 2006 – 7:04 pmHow do you avoid saying something cheesy about how you really need to update your blog more often? Anyway, I need to. Avoid saying it that is.
Michele bought us some really nice office furniture from Office Max. It should be arriving tomorrow afternoon sometime, so it will be waiting for me when I get home from school. So I’ll go to work, then come home for about 20 minutes. Then it’s off to school until 8PM. Come home again, eat dinner, put together some (maybe all, we’ll see) of the office furniture, look at it for five minutes, go to bed.
I splurged away my tax return and part of the leftovers from my student grants/loans. I splurged big. I bought a Nikon D200, which comes with the Nikon 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5 lens. I also ordered the Nikon 28-200mm 3.5-5.6 lens to go with it. Those and a Nikon branded carrying bag. Once I regain my balance from that big purchase, I’m going to order the SB-800 Speedlight to go on top. And after that I want the MB-D200 vertical grip/battery housing.
If things go well, then by Friday night I should have a chance to really enjoy the new office. And maybe this weekend I’ll get to play with my new camera. But that’s if the website wasn’t lying about it actually being in stock. Just look around, it’s a hard camera to buy right now. Maybe in between catching up on my Intro to Java homework and Inter-fucking-mediate Algebra, I’ll be able to snap off a few shots.
Oh, and I chopped all my hair off too.
