What kind of music don’t you like?
August 19, 2005 – 6:49 pm“…I have never really felt that music is so important that I need to ask someone what kind of music they listen to. I have actually found that, in some cases, your answer might turn someone away from you. I think it’s funny when someone says “Im quite diverse when it comes to music. I listen to music from Snoop Dogg to Maroon 5.” Wow, 2 totally different genres of music (not to mention that both are popular stars). What about bluegrass, folk, world and ragtime. Blues, opera, or darkroom. People take music too seriously in the wrong way. Im going to start asking people what kind of music they don’t listen to and why. Thats a question that might drive a deeper conversation. Shit, you might find out something special.”
